What does a new beginning smell like?

Is it the sharp, cold air of a December morning? Is it the warm, grounding spice of clove drifting from a kitchen window? Or is it the silence of a house after the guests have gone, when the only sound is the crackle of a wood wick?

For our debut collection, Chapter 1, we wanted to capture that precise threshold between the end of one year and the start of another. It is a time of reflection, but also of anticipation.

We blended notes of smoked amber to represent the past—rich, deep, and lingering—with the bright, green freshness of wild spruce to signify the path ahead. The result is “December’s First Flame,” a scent that feels like a heavy wool blanket on a cold night.

This isn’t just a candle for winter. It is a companion for the quiet moments where you set your intentions. As the flame dances, we hope it reminds you that every ending is just the start of a new story.
